Today I went to a portfolio workshop in Spokane with Hanna. Talking to art schools in the northwest;Cornish, PNCA..
Constructive criticism is the bomb. I'm motivated and excited and everything's a mystery!
I must get working on my graphic novel.

oh and go see Star Trek, it's beaut-i-ful.

Acrylic fields





Behold! Recent acrylic paintings. O how I loveth color!
This technique of splatting the last drops of paint onto the sky, easy strokes of the fields, and (in the case of the bottom picture) scraping off paint..all of it is new found to me. I'm used to more technical things such as the birds flying in these paintings.
Trying new things is a thrill, mess with the mundane.
